Mexican Fruit Bars

| 2 cups sugar | 2 cups flour |
| 2 teaspoons baking soda | 1 large can crushed pineapple |
| 1 cup chopped pecans | 1/2 teaspoon salt |

Combine all ingredients. Bake in a 9x13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. |

| Frosting | |
| 1 cup powdered sugar | 1/2 stick margarine |
| 3 oz. cream cheese | 1 teaspoon vanilla |
| Frost while warm. Sprinkle with chopped pecans. Cut into bars. | |
