Mexican Fruit Bars

2 cups sugar 2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda 1 large can crushed pineapple
1 cup chopped pecans 1/2 teaspoon salt

Combine all ingredients.  Bake in a 9x13 inch pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Frosting
1 cup powdered sugar 1/2 stick margarine
3 oz. cream cheese 1 teaspoon vanilla
Frost while warm.  Sprinkle with chopped pecans.  Cut into bars.
