Sugared Bourbon Pecans

| 1 cup white sugar | 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg |
| 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon | 1/4 teaspoon salt |
| 1/3 cup bourbon | 1/3 cup water |
| Vanilla | 2 cups Texas Pecan halves |
|
Cook first seven ingredients together in saucepan over medium heat until mixture reaches soft ball stage. Stir in two cups pecan halves and spread out on wax paper to cool. |
